A U-Haul running on fumes, a RED camera, an LLC, and an office that was also an apartment. The crew filmed Save the Mess in a kitchen full of burnt bacon, and The Hero showed what the new company could do.
Black Diamond’s ninja star pinned a cockroach to the wall, and I Am Potential, with Judge Reinhold, premiered at the Louisville Palace.
The Journey for Hosparus, Memory Bank on the cliffs of Montara, California. In November, construction began on a downtown Louisville studio.
5,000 square feet downtown: collaborative space, production space, and a movie theater for screening our clients’ work.
GE and FCB Chicago called with the set built and eight days to camera. Open Doors put Chronicle on every screen in the region, and we crewed the feature Benched.
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee hired Chronicle for one field piece, then came back for five more, from Nashville to Red River Gorge.
Woodford’s My Old Kentucky Home: 1.3 million views in 24 hours, filmed in an empty 150,000-seat stadium. And Chronicle Connects was founded: an HP interview kit in a box that became a whole vertical.
Three crews swept San Francisco for a leading VC firm’s office video wall, and Chronicle became the production partner for its annual global summit, a role we’ve held every year since. Bulleit got a year of content in three days.
GymClass VR turned Louisville into London, Chicago, Tokyo, and Rio. Conversion premiered and went on to stream on Apple TV and Prime.
Conversion went on the road, screening for audiences through the year. BigHat Biosciences joined a growing roster of biotech clients on the coasts: quieter on paper, and it set up everything that came next.
Hallmark asked for a snowy Christmas wonderland in a Louisville summer. Fake snow blew through Norton Commons, and Winter Walk aired nationally that December.
The official Free Bird video for Lynyrd Skynyrd: tens of millions of views. Second Nature hit screens, the LP Summit went to Vegas, and Chronicle became Equip Expo’s production partner.
On January 1st, 2026, Vidionix was acquired by Chronicle Cinema. Then the biggest swing yet: Studio C, the region’s only LED-wall virtual production stage. Twelve years in, and just getting started.
