Chronicle Cinema is a filmmaker-led production partner on the ground in San Francisco, built for tech’s highest-stakes moments. A summit, a funding announcement, a launch. We shoot it, cut it, clear it with legal, and get it live, moving at the pace the moment calls for while making sure every frame is accurate and on-brand. And the same feature-film eye carries every brand film we make for funds, founders, and tech.
Chronicle Cinema is a filmmaker-led production company with a team on the ground in the Bay Area. We work with the categories that define San Francisco (venture, biotech, AI, and the founders building all of it), and we run a real-time content operation built for the speed those teams actually move at.
The speed comes from the system: on-site edit bays and an AI-accelerated pipeline. The judgment comes from people. An editor and your legal team clear everything before it ships. That’s the part most “fast content” promises quietly skip, and it’s the part that matters when your name is on the post.
When the clock matters (a summit going live, a funding round breaking, a launch landing), we don’t hand you footage weeks later. We cut on-site or overnight, get it cleared, and put it in your feed while it’s still the story.
Tech’s biggest moments don’t wait for a post-production calendar. When a moment is live, we run an on-site content team and edit bay: sizzles, bumpers, and speaker cutdowns shot, cut, legal-cleared, and posted while the event is still happening. When news breaks, our Express Unit turns a finished, on-brand film on a rapid timeline. We move at whatever pace the moment actually demands, and never faster than accuracy allows. Here’s the live-event version, step by step.
Our San Francisco tech work spans two of our practices: cinematic brand content through Chronicle Curates, and live-event and real-time content through Chronicle Connects. Explore both.
