A new chapter for video production & event production

Vidionix is now part of
Chronicle Cinema.

In 2026, Chronicle Cinema acquired Vidionix as part of a $6.5M strategic expansion, bringing together two of the region’s most trusted production companies under one roof. Everything you relied on from Vidionix continues, now backed by Chronicle Cinema’s full capabilities.

Two companies.
Now one studio.

Vidionix spent more than a decade building a reputation for dependable, high-quality video production and live event services. From corporate communications and government production to trade show coverage and hybrid events, they earned the trust of institutions across the region and the country.

Chronicle Cinema has spent 12 years building a cinematic production studio: award-winning commercial work, original films, and a physical production hub in Jeffersonville, Indiana that now includes the region’s only LED wall virtual production facility.

The acquisition brings both together: Vidionix’s event and video expertise, Chronicle Cinema’s cinematic quality and expanded capabilities. For current Vidionix clients, this means the same dependable production you trusted: now with more resources, more services, and more ways to tell your story.

Common questions
Things you’re probably wondering.
Will my pricing and contracts change?
Active contracts and existing pricing relationships are honored through their current terms. For new projects, we’ll work with you directly, the goal is continuity, not disruption.
Who do I contact for ongoing projects?
Email hello@chroniclecinema.com and our team will connect you with the right person and pull up your project history right away. No need to start from scratch.
Does Chronicle Cinema do virtual and hybrid events?
Yes. This is now Chronicle Connects. Virtual, hybrid, and in-person event production is a core vertical, with a larger team and more production infrastructure than Vidionix had on its own.
What happened to the Vidionix newsroom and blog?
All Vidionix content is migrating to the Chronicle Cinema Updates section. Articles, resources, and industry insights will continue at chroniclecinema.com/updates.
Is the Jeffersonville studio still available?
Yes, the Jeffersonville location is now Chronicle Cinema Studio C, home to film stages, podcast studios, a meeting suite, and the region’s only LED wall virtual production facility.
What’s new that Vidionix didn’t offer?
Chronicle Curates adds commercial TV production, branded content, and original film capability. The Express Unit delivers cinematic content in 72 hours. Studio C adds an LED wall stage. The Kentucky film tax credit (30–35%) is available to qualifying productions.
Let’s make something iconic.
