Full-lifecycle coverage of the nation’s largest outdoor equipment expo: eight crews across five venues, turning days of live capture into same-day hype videos, rapid social clips, sizzle reels, session edits, educational video, on-site A/V and livestreaming.
Equip Exposition, the nation’s largest outdoor equipment expo, doesn’t happen in one room. Content had to be captured across five venues at once: the Kentucky Venues Expo Center, the Downtown Convention Center, Churchill Downs, Fourth Street Live, and Old Forester’s Paristown Hall. The team needed footage that could feed same-day social while also becoming polished sizzle, educational and session content after the show, and live A/V running in the rooms while it all happened.
Chronicle Cinema deployed eight coordinated crews to cover the ground: interview units, B-roll units, a dedicated drone / timelapse / gimbal team, on-site A/V and livestream operators, and an on-site DIT and editing station. Cutting on location meant social clips and a hype video could go out while the event was still happening, and every frame was organized to roll straight into the longer-form edits afterward.
From a single event, Equip walks away with a full content library each year: an on-site same-day hype video, rapid-turn social content, extended sizzle reels, educational videos, and session edits of the keynote and seminars, plus live A/V and streaming in the room. It’s an engagement engine during the show and an attendance engine for the next one. Chronicle Cinema is Equip’s production partner through 2027.
