On the nights of August 26 and 27, every seat at Studio C is in frame. The cameras face the stage and they face the room, because the room is part of the show. We’d like you in it.
What’s happening at Studio C on August 26 and 27
Daniel Franzese, the comedian and actor most people know as Damian from Mean Girls, is taping an all-new comedy special at Studio C, our production stage in Jeffersonville. Two nights, one special, and a live studio audience whose laughter becomes part of the finished film. Daniel has also appeared in HBO’s Looking and The Comeback, and on comedy stages across the country. This is a Chronicle Cinema Original, produced by our Chronicle Creates team.

How to get free tickets to the Daniel Franzese taping
Tickets are free. Seating is limited, and seats are held by name and released if the room fills. Both nights run 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with doors opening 30 minutes before. If a night fills up, join the waitlist: free tickets always shake loose. Reserve your spot here, and pick your night.
What it’s like to be in a studio audience
This is a taping, not a screening, and that’s the fun of it. You’ll see the room work: the cameras, the resets, the parts a viewing audience never gets. If we run a bit back for take two, laugh just as hard the second time. Months before anyone else sees a frame of this special, you were in the building. One thing to know before you register: there’s no seat that isn’t on camera, so coming means you’re okay appearing in the finished special. The release is a checkbox on the ticket form, and you can read it in full first.
Arrive early. Everyone needs to be seated before we roll, and late arrivals can’t come in once the taping starts. It’s a camera thing, not a rudeness thing. Seating is first come, first served, and drinks and popcorn are available while doors are open.

Where Studio C is
Studio C is at 140 Spring Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana, five minutes from downtown Louisville, right across the bridge, with free parking on site. It’s the region’s only LED wall virtual production stage, and most weeks it’s building commercials and films. This week it’s a comedy club.
