Chronicle Cinema moves into the downtown Fenley Office Building, building a movie viewing theatre, a state-of-the-art post-production facility, and corporate offices, as Zach Meiners and team continue work on feature-length films while expanding focus into commercial work.
LOUISVILLE, KY — One of Louisville’s premiere filmmaking companies, owned by filmmaker Zach Meiners, has moved into Class A 5,000 sq. ft. office space in the downtown Fenley Office Building. Located at 614 W. Main Street, the Chronicle Cinema space includes offices and meeting rooms, a post-production space, a studio, and a tiered screening room / movie theatre.

Chronicle Cinema initially started as a filmmaking studio, with its acclaimed feature-length film in 2015 titled I Am Potential. The movie was based on the life of world-acclaimed musician and speaker Patrick Henry Hughes. Since then, Chronicle Cinema has taken on commercial work for brands including AT&T, Zig Zag, Loctite, and Louisville Slugger. Zach Meiners and his team of three full-time employees and over 60 contractors now produce a variety of projects for companies around the U.S. using filmmaking, animation, and virtual reality.
David Fenley, President of Fenley Real Estate, got to know Zach during a project they were working on for Fenley’s UpStartU non-profit. He says of Zach: “I knew immediately that he was incredibly talented, and have been thrilled to be able to work with him and his team to provide them the space to create amazing work. I look forward to watching them grow as a company and artists in the coming years.”
Meiners also highlights the State of Kentucky’s film credit incentive program for helping keep his company within the state. “Kentucky has done a great job of making it possible for productions to be filmed right here at home,” explains Meiners. “Because of the benefits, including refundable income tax credits of up to 35%, it made it economical to stay in Louisville, although we work with clients all over the U.S.”
